Peter decided back in 2014 to take a step back from the day to day involvement of the business, however he continues to bring his wealth of experience to help and support the talented and motivated HMA Team. His role as Chairman has allowed Peter to pursue other ventures like Property Developing.

Aside from her family and very pampered dog, Sue’s two passions in life are HMA and music. When she has the chance to escape HMA, she plays principal flute in Aylesbury Symphony Orchestra, Abingdon Symphony Orchestra, Didcot Concert Orchestra and a few other groups. She has recently acquired her DipABRSM flute performance diploma and because she likes a challenge, is now embarking on the next level, LRSM.  A keen runner – but lapsed – mainly because there just aren’t enough hours in the day!

When not working through the accounts in the office, Rachel enjoys running and also volunteers for her local Scout group that her two children attend, as part of their executive committee.  It’s incredibly rewarding witnessing the young people develop skills for life.

Dan’s engineering background has given him the innovative and logical thinking, attention to detail and broad knowledge of a wide range of products. He builds the bridge between a design on a computer screen to a beautiful product in reality. He is also well known for his calm character when managing complex projects and finding solutions for problems.

Daniel oversees the teams looking after both the manufacturing of all HMA’s products and also the distribution of the goods around the world. When not at work he tries to play cricket and football in-between maintaining his wife’s two dogs… and 3 birds.

With over 12 years of Data Analysis experience, Marie provides support to HMA with data reporting – from SQL to Excel. Outside of work, Marie loves watching films – from Austen to Hong Kong Legends, Marvel to Horror.

It’s all about managing the tricky characters! At work Jia deals with tricky Far East suppliers to keep her clients happy. At home Jia has a tricky but also the most adorable rescue dog called Manchez, who takes up most of her spare time.

When she can be torn from her laptop Lizz can often be found at the gym or with her family making sure that their activities also run on time and under budget!

Yvonne works mainly in the busy Production Department which means once your order is placed her role is to look after all aspects of it, from receiving and checking samples to arranging delivery to the end user. Yvonne enjoys a fun night out with friends and loves a game of cards or a board game. She has been known to dabble in a bit of fitness but is yet to be totally converted as wine is always a more favorable option….she’s working on it!

Niki has two main passions in life, drawing and rock music (often by very obscure bands!), so when not up to her eyeballs sending samples here there and everywhere, you will often find her sketching various people from bands with the hope (not always in vain) that she might be able to give them a copy of her pictures to keep.

Michelle is more than a front desk receptionist, smiling and answering the phone. She meets and greets all visitors on site and helps other departments in between. When 3 p.m comes Michelle enjoys spending time with her daughter and has just started going running to improve her fitness.

Yvonne has worked at HMA for 19  years in our busy warehouse. She is a very hands on Manager, making kits and orders up and whizzing around on the forklift taking in deliveries. Out of work Yvonne enjoys spending time with her 4 grandchildren and then going home for some quiet time where she enjoys reading on her kindle and having a glass of her favourite tipple of vodka and diet coke.

Ling and her team are HMA’s eyes and ears in China. Ling is always visiting factories – she is instrumental in our ethical compliance programmes and works very closely with our factories offering support and guidance.
When Ling isn’t working she loves Yoga and is a keen runner.
